Apex Chassis KIT172 Extreme Duty Tie Rod Assembly

Upgrade your 2005-2024 Ford F-250/350 4WD with the Apex Chassis KIT172 Extreme Duty Tie Rod Assembly from XDP. Designed to replace the underperforming OE tie rods this kit features oversized tie rod ends connected by a massive DOM tube that eliminates death wobble and tightens up steering under the most extreme conditions. The weak adjusting sleeves are replaced by tie rod ends threading directly into the connecting rod, secured by jam nuts and proprietary ninja lock-washers. The tie rod ends are 1/8" larger in diameter than OE, which may require modifications to dual stabilizer kit tie rod end brackets to fit.

The Apex Chassis KIT172 features an SAE 1045 solid steel forged housing, CNC-machined to eliminate any die wear issues. The SAE 4140 hot-forged chromoly ball studs are induction heat-treated to provide a precise heat treatment, and the threads are rolled to strengthen them and allow for easy movement of hardware. The rugged metal-to-metal bearing design, CR rubber boots, and accordion boot are designed to withstand the most extreme conditions. The kit comes with an E-coat finish, grade 8 - class 10.9 hardware, and a pre-threaded zerk housing. The tie rod assembly is also greaseable, and a pre-greased high articulation spherical bushing is included on the passenger side for extreme durability.
