When streaking becomes visible on the windshield of your van, it can be an early sign that the wiper blades need replacing on your vehicle. Hazing or streaking on the windshield when moisture is present is a common sign the blades are no longer making full contact with the windshield. A good rule of thumb is to check the wiper blades twice a year. The rubber can begin to harden or crack as a wiper blade ages, along with exposure to extreme temperatures. Inspect your blades and check for uneven edges, splits in the rubber, or any imperfections. You can also observe your blades wipe pattern.
