The PPE 114000560 Special Issue Premium HE Oil Filter is a high-performance oil filter with a military inspired look for your 2001-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax. This oil filter features over twice the surface area of a traditional oil filter to keep your engine oil contaminant-free. The increase in surface area is constructed out of an accordion-folded nylon and fiberglass media that can catch 5-microns particles. Most factory-quality oil filters have a filtration range of 8 to 10-micron meaning this filter can grab contaminants half the size of other brands. With twice the filtration the filter life due to double the filtration media of other oil filters, the PPE oil filter is a great choice.

I use this filter on my 93 Chevy 6.5 td. I use the magnafilter adapter to clear the oil pan rail. Works really well and keeps the oil clean. Great product
