The PPE 124064000 Bar & Plate Performance Transmission Cooler is a great way to reduce heat in the transmission of your 2015-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax. This transmission cooler features a bar & plate design with increased surface area that delivers 60% more heat transfer over the factory cooler. The transmission fluid speed is decreases through the bars of the trans cooler to allow extra time for heat transfer. Heat is then diffused from the bar to the plate and cooled by the louvered aluminum fins. This transmission cooler includes a limited lifetime warranty for peace of mind and bolt-in installation that requires no modifications.

At first, I was impressed with the ease of installation and the performance but after owning it for not even six months. When it cracked across the front, I got to speaking with a few other people they had the same problem I called PPE. They asked to Send pictures and they will send it to the warranty department and I could expedite it by giving a $200 deposit until they receive my old cooler than I would be refunded that deposit after they received the old cooler. Its going to be a week and one before I'm going to receive a transmission cooler for my truck obviously they don't care about their customers not being without a vehicle for over a week. Poor customer service. It will be the last PPE product I buy because of it.
